The essence of the scientific project is exploring cutting mechanisms in order to determine their optimal parameters and deepen theoretical knowledge in cutting and primary processing of wood. Monitoring the impact properties of the interaction process of felling and primary processing of wood in terms of tree species, its anisotropy, moisture, technical and technological factors and forest machinery in response to the energy consumption of the cutting process. Determine cutting forces, cutting edge durability and tool life and reduce noise and vibration generated in the system of machine-tool-workpiece. On the basis of new conceptual solutions of cutting mechanisms and tools there will be ensure industrial legal protection of constructional solutions.
