Forest ecosystems trophic disposition from the aspect of game nutrition

The aim of the project is to reach the most prosper coexistence of the game and their environment. Based on a comprehensive assessment of the environmental conditions of forest biocenosis a methodical procedure for quantification of spatial risk of tree browsing by ungulates game will be defined.Based on the achieved results, the main principles of young stands protection will be proposed, applicable also in differentconditionsof forestrypractice. The issue of forest protection will be solved in the close relation to the nutritional requirements of game and to the options for its gratification. On the experimental fenced plot the research will also focus on the detection of damages caused by game, depending on the applied supplemental nutrition.
