The contribution to research in the area of wood flame retardants in accordance with world trends by utilisation of modern methods for the determination of important fire-technical characteristics, physical, mechanical, chemical and toxicological properties of treated wood. The aim of the project is to improve the fire resistance of wood by means of new flame retardants based predominantly on nanoparticles and natural substances.
