Implementation and Evaluation Analysis of Forest Policy Instruments

Implementation and evaluation analyses of forest policy instruments that are carried out by external research institutions enable to enhance the success of public policy instruments in forestry. The objective of the proposed applied research project is to develop pilot studies for public policy instruments evaluation and to verify it using case studies for regulatory, economic and informational forest policy instruments. The theory of economic assessment of state intervention, public policy analysis and governance will serve as the basic theoretical background. The methodology of the project will be based on the combination of political science empirical research methods. The result of the proposed project will be implementation and evaluation studies of selected forest policy instruments.
