Short- and medium-termed fluctuations of climatic factors as regulator of succession of Carabid taxocoenoses

Within the project we will study speed and length of response, which the sudden or middle-termed fluctuations of temperature and precipitation or occurrence of extreme drought cause in the qualitative and quantitative parameters of Carabid taxocoenoses in intact forests ecosystems or in ecosystems destroyed by the wind storm in November 2004 and subsequently influenced by different modes of artificial or spontaneous restoration of the damaged forests.
