Prediction of the quality of the generated surface during milling solid wood by razor end mills using CNC milling machines.

This project is about quality of the generated surface, in 2D and 3D blanks milling of tree species beech, oak and spruce by razor end mills using CNC milling machines.
The project reflects on the requirements of the practice, create the optimization instrument of choice of technological parameters (cutting and feed speed) for the selected model of wood splitting and actual size of removed layer with respect to the required quality of the generated surface.
The project set itself the objective to adjust "classical model of determining the theoretical surface roughness" for conditions of surface evaluation defined in Slovak technical standard and at the same time take into account the factors such as the material properties, mechanism of chip creation and tool wear.
